Mike is a native of Washington, DC; he is the owner and CEO of Off Season Athletics, LLC (OSA). Mike is also the co-founder of OSA Basketball Academy, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to student athletes, helping them to strive for excellence through sports. Mike started doing Player Development in 2005, while he was coaching his AAU team MD LadySharpshooters. Mike is dedicated to his clients and loves to train. He is all about getting that client/athlete to the next level. Not only is he a trainer, but "Coach Mike" is a mentor and role model to the young men and ladies that he trains.

Mike has been in the coaching arena, over 13 years now. His first coaching job was in the AAU arena for Team Excel. After coaching Team Excel, he then co-founded his own AAU organization, the Maryland Lady Sharpshooters. During the summer of 2006, Coach Mike was the coach for Bethesda Chevy Chase High School's summer league team and the next year coached Paint Branch High School's summer league team, in the Best of Maryland Tournament. This team featured the Gatorade Player of the year in the state of Maryland, Maryland University point guard, and former Boston University player. During that tournament Coach Mike and Paint Branch High School finished 2-2 and faced many top players and teams in the country.

In 2007, Mike was an Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Northwood High School, and then went on to the college ranks becoming the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Montgomery College, Rockville campus, in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 season. Not only has he coached in these different elements, but he has also trained and coached many elite basketball players who are currently attending Div. I, II and III schools.

In the 2013-2014 basketball season Mike became the Head Coach at Urbana Middle School where he lead the Lady Hawks to an impressive 16-0 record in the Mid-Maryland League taking home the Championship for the Urbana Hawks.

In 2014-2015, Mike was provided the opportunity to be the Head Girls JV Coach at Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD. Coach Mike in his first year place second in the Washington Catholic Athletics Conference with an impressive 10-4 record finishing behind Paul VI. He was a part of the Varsity coaching staff and helped them to the Championship game against Paul VI, where they unfortunately lost in a nail bitter by 2 points at American University.

In the 2016-2017 season Mike was promoted and is now the Varsity Girls Assistant basketball Coach at Good Counsel High school which is a Nike Elite nationally ranked program. Mike is also the Lead Player Development Coach on staff.

Mike was asked to work with Mike and former WNBA player Nikki Teasley with Team Assist, coaching their 17U Elite team in 2015 and is now currently coaching the 15U team. Mike has helped recruit some of the top prospects in this area, who are all getting Div I, II and III looks. Mike is very honored for the opportunity to be working with such a prestigious family like the Teasley's.

Mike Teasley, one of the most legendary coaches of his time, coached at Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg, VA and in 2007 during his 5th season was ranked #1 in the ESPN High School Elite girls rankings. He molded his program after mentors such as Stu Vetter, and Kevin Sutton. He coached some of the top ranked athletes in the country as well. He took a struggling program and turned them into a powerhouse creating a 111-12 record.

Mike has many accomplishments to date. He is currently training the #5 player in the country Shakira Austin (2018) out of the Stafford Virginia area and another well known player his daughter, 5th grader Kiyomi McMiller.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Ravilia and five children Kiyomi, Miku, Yuri, Mike Jr. and Jeffrey. Training is his PASSION and nothing gives him more pleasure than to see his clients grow and accomplish their dreams!
